 Year End Message
End of another very busy year is less than a month and a few deadlines away. As you contemplate you next years goals and renewing your membership (hint hint) I would like to recap the purpose of CLSA and how your participation is critical in keeping it robust and functioning.

The California Land Surveyors Association (CLSA) is a VOLUNTEER RUN professional organization dedicated to advancing the interests of the land surveying profession. It focuses on several key areas:

ADVOCACY: CLSA represents the interests of land surveyors at local, state, and national levels, ensuring their voices are heard in legislative and regulatory matters.

EDUCATION: The association promotes education through conferences, seminars, webinars, and workshops, helping members stay updated with the latest technologies and practices in surveying.

NETWORKING: CLSA provides networking opportunities for both young professionals and established firms, fostering connections and the exchange of ideas within the profession.

PUBLIC AWARENESS: The association works to increase public awareness of the value and importance of the land surveying profession.

2025 OC CLSA Chapter Board of Directors nominations are still open and we are seeking nominees. You may email your nomination to [email protected]

Your Membership and involvement at local and state levels, from entry level survey technician to a business leader is critical to your profession and career advancement. Please register for your 2025 state membership at https://www.californiasurveyors.org/  

After you are registered with the state you will need to come to the OC-CLSA new website (launching by January 1st) and sign up for your chapter membership.
